Local Foods is a farm-to-table fast-casual restaurant in multiple locations around Houston. The original shop, which was formally a taco place, opened in 2011. Found for the Home’s Aaron Rambo was the designer for the job. Farm-to-table, healthy food that’s also delicious is all the rage and Local Foods serves just that. But the great food would be nothing with out a matching interior.
Local foods is known for gourmet salads, fresh salad options and healthy. It’s simple style done well. Rambo designed a retro inspired space that encompasses the feel of a cafeteria, delicatessen, and butcher shop. The exposed pipes and structural chairs and tables give Local Foods a laid back attitude that is perfect for it’s delicious, yet not too complicated menu items.
This year, Paper City Design Awards were announced and Rambo won Best Commercial Interior Design for his work at Local Foods! Check out their great food and retro interior and check out Found for the Home for more inspiration and home décor accessories and furniture.
